Receiptly
Receiptly captures, organizes, and exports your business receipts. Free forever for the basics; Pro adds AI scanning and tax-ready exports.
Three ways to add a receipt
Use whichever fits the moment.
- Upload - drag a photo or PDF into the dashboard. Works on every device.
- Camera - on mobile, tap the camera button to snap a receipt straight from your phone.
- Manual entry - no photo, just type the merchant, amount, date, and notes.
AI extraction (Pro)
When you upload a photo, our AI reads merchant, amount, currency, and date - usually in under three seconds.
- 1Drop or snap a receipt.
- 2Wait a beat - we show a confidence score along with the extracted fields.
- 3Edit anything that's wrong, pick a category, hit Save.
If confidence drops below 70%, the receipt is flagged as 'Needs review' so you remember to double-check later.
Categories
Group receipts by category to see where your money goes. The dashboard shows your top spending category for the current month.
Create categories from Settings → Categories. Pick a color so they stand out in the table.
Tag receipts to projects
If a receipt belongs to a client project, tag it. Receiptly shares projects with Clienty so the same project ID works across the suite.
Check 'Reimbursable expense' when the receipt is a pass-through cost you'll bill back to the client. Tagged receipts surface in Invoicy when you create an invoice for that project.
Exports for tax time (Pro)
Settings → Reports lets you export everything you've logged.
- CSV - spreadsheet-ready, every receipt with merchant, amount, category, project, and notes.
- PDF - a clean tax report you can hand to an accountant.
- Pick presets (this month, last quarter, last year) or a custom date range.
What's on each plan
- Free - 10 receipts/month, manual entry, USD only, no AI extraction, no tax export.
- Pro - unlimited receipts, AI extraction, multi-currency, tax exports (CSV + PDF).
